From the Heart of the Forest
"There was quite a bit of hustle and bustle in the forest one morning. Rabbits were coming out of their holes and peeking. Deer were grazing and peering. Birds were flapping and landing near one special tree. This particular tree was known in the forest as Haventree. Its branches curved and arched and connected to smaller branches. They seemed to twist and wrap in a never ending way. Inside the sturdy trunk were cozy nooks and secret holes that carried endless stories of nature’s creatures. Each of these creatures were peering and looking above."
-From Amari’s Miracle, written by Jennie Bourquin-
Haventree was a place that was imagined for a story (a story you may actually read someday soon)- a large and ancient tree nestled in the center of the forest with nooks and holes for animals to be safe and make their home. Our hope is that children and families will find that same safety and sense of wonder in the content that we create.
Haventree Publishing shares stories that point to God's heart with imagination and playfulness. Rooted in scripture and brought to life through animals and nature, each tale (or tail) inspires wonder, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of the character of God.
